Catching up: Visiting Friends (RC, Sunday May 25, 2014)

Chantal and Mika caught the 10:10 ferry to the Sunshine Coast this morning. If you look closely at the 3rd window from the left in the upper row of windows you can see them looking out.

 A quick cell phone call informed them that they would have to go down to the lowest deck to disembark at this terminal ;-)

After this, we went for a quick visit to Hans & Denise, where Mika visited the pirate ship and was rewarded by two pockets full of chocolate and even some additional ice cream money (Thank you, Hans ;-). This was followed by a lunch at my favourite Chinese restaurant ...

Hungry Child Syndrome

and a visit to Cruiseship-Waving Beach (I'm sure it has a real name, but I have no idea what that might be).
On the way back from Cruiseship-Waving Beach, we spotted some deer in a driveway, and even all off us getting out of the car and walking towards them was not enough to scare them away!

Chantal in all her XX years had never seen a deer this close !
