It was a dark and stormy night (or Nautical Disaster images)

Before you look at the pictures, start this song by the Tragically Hip.  Somehow it will provide the perfect background for these images of a very recent ferry trip taken with my scratched cell camera. At first the point of applying some spit on the lens was to smooth out the huge scratches, but then I just liked the effect ;-)  And NO: no hands were lost, no one got wet.

The warning signs had been in the air ;-)
